Solar roof PV system of 0.5 MWp at car manufacturer in Germany

For a large supplier and part of a well-known German car brand, ETURN realized a 0.5 MWp solar roof PV installation in eastern Germany. The project faced special challenges due to strict technical requirements and limited space on the roof. Due to the presence of various installations and obstacles on and under the roof, not every part of the roof area could be utilized. However, ETURN was able to make optimal use of the available space through clever configuration and custom assembly, so that the project still achieved maximum efficiency.

The system delivers renewable energy directly to the production hall, where, among other things, batteries are assembled. In the future, this system is expected to be expanded to include a BESS battery storage system so that generated solar energy can be stored locally and used later.

With this project, ETURN demonstrates how even roofs with complex conditions can be transformed into efficient and cost-effective solar solutions, even within the strict standards of the automotive industry.
